The now-renamed and re-located “Happy Honda” (was on Hastings near Capitol Hill, Burnaby) will always stick in my mind as an amusing name. Preserved forever thanks to google:
There are a few dealerships with goofy somewhat old fashioned names, or proprietor-based names around Seattle, but many now have moved to the location-based name ideal, probably because ownership has consolidated.

Happy Honda has always annoyed me. Also, they seem to sell to the worst drivers. When I see a HH plate holder, I give that car a wide berth.

Well, it’s Burnaby, it could probably only be worse with “Richmond” in the name :)
A friend of mine who was a Honda fanatic wanted a Happy Honda frame, but he became disenchanted with the brand as he miled up a V6 coupe which slowly but surely fell apart, and it never happened.

There’s one near me with a normal name, but their motto, displayed proudly on their plate brackets and stickers, is “Power to Surprise!” That is NOT what I want in my car buying experience. I mean, I know what they mean. But still. No thank you.

You know, I can’t think of any Edmonton dealerships that have particularly stupid names. They’re all pretty reasonable and boring, usually just the neighbourhood/side of town + brand name (e.g. “West Side Mitsubishi” or “Lakewood Chevrolet”).
